Experienced Residential Carpenter, St. John’s, NL

Jump Recruitment Specialists has partnered with Cooper Custom Homes in search of a full-time permanent Experienced Carpenter for projects within St. Johns and surrounding areas.

The Job

Execute carpentry tasks for new home construction projects.
Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
Frame walls, roofs, and floors, install windows and doors, and complete various carpentry tasks with precision.
Collaborate with the construction team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Provide input on construction planning and contribute to problem-solving when challenges arise.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential renovations and new home construction.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential carpentry.
Trade certification or relevant education is an asset.
Demonstrated portfolio of completed residential renovation and construction projects.
Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
