Job Summary :

The Entry Summary Analyst supports the accurate and timely filing of customs entry summaries (CBP Form 7501) in compliance with U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) regulations. Reporting directly to the Entry Summary Manager, this role is responsible for analyzing import documentation, validating classification and valuation data, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring all post-entry corrections and compliance procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and analyze import documentation including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and packing lists to prepare accurate entry summaries.
• Accurately and efficiently enter required information into database system to prepare required documentation for entry.
• Ensures that entries are filed on time in accordance with company and customer’s expectation.
• Process client invoices and maintain effective relationships with clients, carriers, customs, etc.
• Respond to calls and questions from internal and external sources.
• Verify classification (HTSUS), valuation, and partner government agency (PGA) requirements
• Ensure timely filing and release of entries through ACE
• Assist in post-entry work such as PSCs, protests, CF28 / 29 responses, and reconciliation
• Identify and escalate discrepancies or compliance concerns to the Entry Summary Manager
• Communicate with importers, carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to resolve entry issues
• Maintain compliance with CBP regulations and changes in import requirements
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting as needed
• Help update standard operating procedures and documentation for the Entry Summary team Manage internal & external reports as needed
