Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support Phase 2 of their Human Capital Management (HCM) Modernization Program. This contract position operates on a Hybrid work model out of the People department. The primary focus of this engagement is to support the implementation of Dayforce Workforce Management (WFM) and Payroll capabilities while retiring legacy workforce management and payroll systems.
In this role, you will provide critical hands-on delivery support across business process design, requirements elicitation, system integration analysis, testing readiness, and defect resolution. Operating within a fast-paced transformation environment, you will work independently to drive clarity, document requirements from both business and technical perspectives, map future-state processes, and support System Integration Testing (SIT). You will collaborate closely with business SMEs, technical teams, solution architects, implementation partners, and integration squads.

ResponsibilitiesProcess Mapping: Develop detailed future-state business process maps and process analysis artifacts for WFM and Payroll.
Requirements & Traceability: Author comprehensive business and technical requirements documentation, maintaining end-to-end traceability throughout delivery.
Integration & Data Mapping: Document technical integration requirements, data structures, and cross-application mappings.
Governance Artifacts: Maintain structured documentation of business rules, architectural decisions, project assumptions, system dependencies, and risks.
Testing Execution: Deliver hands-on SIT readiness support, SIT execution, defect triage, and issue resolution.
Knowledge Transfer: Produce clear operational documentation to ensure seamless ongoing delivery and handoff to business teams.
Team Structure & Execution Focus
Join an existing BA team supporting Workforce Management and Payroll streams, collaborating alongside two peer BAs (one focused on Payroll, another bringing deep Dayforce/WFM expertise).
Work across workstreams to support open design discussions, align implementation partners, and drive consensus among business SMEs and technical teams.
As the project transitions from design into build and SIT, actively drive testing preparation, validate software build readiness, and manage defect resolution workflows.
Function as a self-starter who requires minimal onboarding and day-to-day direction, stepping in to deliver immediate value.
QualificationsMust-Have Qualifications
Senior BA Experience: Proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst operating on large-scale enterprise digital transformation programs.
Process & Requirements Analysis: Strong expertise in business process mapping, process analysis, and authoring requirements from both business and technical perspectives.
Integration Depth: Practical experience working with complex system integrations, APIs, and dependent legacy applications.
Testing & QA Support: Hands-on experience supporting technical testing phases, specifically System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Facilitation & Stakeholder Management: Excellent facilitation skills with a demonstrated ability to identify gaps, challenge business assumptions, drive clarity, and align diverse vendor/internal teams.
Autonomy: Ability to operate independently with minimal direction, translating abstract business needs into clear requirements and actionable delivery items.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Direct implementation experience with Dayforce (Ceridian/Dayforce platform).
Hands-on functional exposure to Workforce Management (WFM), Payroll Transformation, Time & Attendance, or Benefits Administration.
Prior experience supporting external implementation partners (System Integrators) through design, build, and testing phases within large HR/HCM programs.
