About this Opportunity

As an Aerospace & Defense Intern, you will bridge the gap between Engineering, Sourcing, and Production to drive cost-reduction initiatives. You will analyze component data, support product verification, and document the implementation of cost-effective solutions. Additionally, you will assist the Global Customer Business Unit with pricing cycles and coordinate with Corporate Supply Chain on quarterly claims and financial reconciliations.

Activities:

• Gathering component information from Celestica production and external suppliers

• Generating comparison data from similar components

• Interfacing with supply chain and commodity managers during component selection

• Review of design documentation to understand design intent.

• Testing and analysis of components in order to verify parameters

• Testing of end units for both original and newly selected components

• Creation of data documentation that justify the new selected components

• Managing Customer pricing and rollout process

• Project related contract amendments

• Accounts receivable reconciliation

• Quarterly Excess and Obsolete claim process with customer

• Quarterly Consignment confirmation and signoff process with customer

Physical Demands, duties of this position are varied and will include:

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Salary

The range described in this posting is an estimate by the Company, and may change based on several factors, including but not limited to a change in the duties covered by the job posting, or the credentials, experience or geographic jurisdiction of the successful candidate.

The hourly wage is determined by the years of study completed and is non-negotiable as per company policy.

Hourly Wage: $22.50-25.50 CAD/hr
