Purpose Of The Position :

Are you a dynamic professional with a passion for technology and sales? Reporting to the Country Manager, you will be responsible for growing Proya’s business sales within Canada and USA for Enterprise Architecture and / or Engineering Lifecycle Management.

This role requires a deep understanding of technology products and services and the ability to effectively communicate their value proposition to new customers.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in technology sales, business development, or related roles within the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead Generation : Generate new business leads through proactive prospecting activities. This includes connecting with key decision-makers in both the Canadian and US markets through various channels such as direct calls, personalized emails, targeted campaigns, social media engagement, and fostering relationships within industry networks and partner channels.
  • Client Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong relationships with important decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in specific industries.

Understand their business problems and offer customized solutions to help.

  • Solution Selling : Collaborate with technical teams to understand product offerings, features, and capabilities, and effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients through presentations, demonstrations, and proposals.
  • Pipeline Management : Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure, tracking progress, prioritizing opportunities, and ensuring timely follow-up to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Negotiation and Closing : Support negotiations on pricing, terms, and contracts to secure new business deals, making sure they match what the company aims for in profits and goals.
  • Strategic Partnerships : Maintain existing relationships with vendors; identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with complementary technology vendors and industry associations, and channel partners to expand market reach and drive incremental revenue.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to provide visibility into sales performance, trends, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
  • Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales in Canada
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to build and expand a network with customers.
  • Self-motivated with strong self-discipline.
  • Demonstrated track record of being a self-starter and taking initiative.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel, have a valid driver’s license.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Architecture tools (preferably MEGA HOPEX) and / or IBM ELM tools would be advantageous.
