Job Summary

We are seeking a Safety Engineer to join the thisPrevention organization (LP) which is the corporate safetyorganization within the company.

We provide both daytoday infieldoccupational and process safety support to This Company operationsas well as centralized technical support and consulting function.

Our field offices are located in Abqaiq Riyadh Ras Tanura DhahranUdhailiyah Jeddah (including Yanbu and Jazan) and Tanajib.

Throughthese offices LP provides its services to all This Companyfacilities and departments that are located throughout the Kingdom.

Your primary role as a Safety Engineer (Loss Prevention Engineer)is to provide daily support to company facilities and departmentshelping them effectively implement the This Company SafetyManagement System (Occupational & Process Safety) expectationsand associated programs as well as assuring compliance to allcompany safety requirements.

Responsibilities :

Facilitate the implementation of the companysSafety Management System ensuring alignment with its objectives andexpectations.

Develop associated safety processes and activelyparticipate in selfassessments.

Conductcomprehensive field inspections and reviews to assess compliancewith company and international codes and standards.

Identify safetyconcerns devise solutions and formulate practical and costeffectivecorrective actions.

• Identify assess recommendactions and ensure followup on critical safety tasks and controlmethodologies associated with operational safety practices such aswork at height isolation / LOTO permit to work hydrogen sulfideconfined space entry and excavations.
• Engagein safety studies / activities using risk assessment and mitigationmethodologies including PHAs HAZOPs JSAs incident investigationscompliance reviews and insurance surveys.
• Respond to emergency situations and incidents offeringtechnical assistance and advice whether during regular workinghours or after.
• Participate in worksitecontractor safety management activities encompassing aspects likecontractor selection prequalification monitoring of work sitecompliance and performance measurement.
• Support the reporting classification and investigation ofall incidents. Play an active role in incident investigationsidentifying root causes and providing appropriate recommendationsto prevent recurrence.
• Deliver specializedLoss Preventionspecific training to employees contractors andexternal parties.
• Fulfill the role ofmentoring other LP personnel contributing to knowledge transfer andprofessional development within the team.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Hold a Bachelor degreein Engineering or Engineering Technology from an AccreditedInstitution.
• 7years of experience as a safetyprofessional in the oil and gas petrochemicals or relatedindustries.
• Demonstrate a strong track recordin delivering results encompassing comprehensive experience in bothoccupational and process safety.
• Showcaseexpertise in areas such as safety management risk assessmentincident prevention and compliance with industrystandards.
• Exhibit excellent communicationskills in English allowing effective interaction with peers andmembers of management.
• Proficiency inproducing clear and concise oral and written reports inEnglish.
