Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for strategic supply chain planning including the day to day management of the planning team and leading supply chain innovations activities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day to Day Management of the Planning Team.
- Production Scheduling.
- Ingredients Purchasing.
- Packaging Purchasing.
- Inventory Management.
- Lead Supply Chain Innovation Activities
- Strategic Initiatives
- Production Planning
- Inventory Phasing Strategy (Load-In Build)
- Materials Planning / Purchasing
- Inventory management - including Supply Chain loss mitigation
- Innovation Project planning
- Assess all Risks to Innovations from a Logistics standpoint
- Guide execution (setup up needed inputs for execution)
- Support Marketing and Tech Development on project launch
- Supplier relationship management
- Innovation costing
- SAP data setup
- Planning team Management and Development
Requirements :
- Education : University Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or equivalent and industry related discipline.
- Experience : min 3 years of progressive experience leading operational functions, proven leadership skills with strong business sense, demonstrated understanding of Supply Chain processes and strategy and relationships to financial planning.
Experience working with and managing hourly employees and salaried.
Excellent presentation and communication skills. Solid understanding of beer industry and all key cost drivers. Solid knowledge and understanding of distribution and related planning processes.
Solid technical skills and a reputation as a leader of change.
- Broad strategic thinker with clear vision and passion for continuous improvement as a critical business philosophy. Strong interpersonal capabilities and able to work cross-functionally with others at all levels on sensitive issues.
- Proficient level knowledge on VPO / DPO processes. Expert knowledge of AB-InBev management processes. Strong financial analysis abilities.
- Working knowledge of SAP, WMS and Microsoft office suite a mus
