We are looking for a detail-oriented Client Relations Administrator to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. This position is within the financial services industry and offers a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing client accounts, handling payments, and ensuring smooth onboarding processes while collaborating within a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and reconcile recurring and one-time payments, including electronic funds transfers and wire transactions.
- Process cash withdrawals, deposits, and transfer requests with accuracy and efficiency.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new clients and assist with account transitions, such as transferring assets or converting them to cash.
- Utilize software tools, including Microsoft Excel for advanced functions like vlookups, as well as other office applications to streamline operations.
- Collaborate effectively with a team of 4-5 colleagues, ensuring alignment in client service delivery.
- Report directly to the Head of Client Relations while contributing to departmental goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain organized records and documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation of workflow improvements and contribute to process optimization.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies in all administrative tasks.
- Previous experience in client service or financial operations roles, particularly within the financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of payment processing, client onboarding, and account transfer procedures.
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions like vlookups, and familiarity with other Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Experience with NBIN systems or financial software is considered an asset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a high level of independence.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of the role.
