In this role, you will :
- Update and maintain business architecture assessment templates with accurate and complete input.
- Analyze to identify impacts and insights to support business architecture assessments.
- Develop and refine business architecture models, such as business capability maturity models and strategic roadmaps, following enterprise and industry standards.
- Coordinate meetings across groups, document and recap meeting minutes, and manage action items.
- Facilitate sessions with stakeholders for business process documentation and assessment clarification.
- Build knowledge of business processes, business capabilities, and systems across GRM domains.
- Identify opportunities for rationalization, transformation & simplification.
- Analyze industry & market trends to find improvement opportunities.
- Store all artifacts in a central business architecture repository.
- Understand the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his / her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML / ATF / sanctions and conduct risk.

- 3+ years Analyst experience, preferably experience in Business Architecture or GRM
- Business Architecture Certification is an asset
