How you'll make an impact
- Strategically partner with leaders to execute a comprehensive talent strategy.
- Drive the implementation of HR programs and initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Participate in full cycle recruitment to ensure we continually hire quality talent for our teams.
- Drive the employee experience, including onboarding, employee engagement, career development, performance management, compensation management, and offboarding.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including but not limited to employee relations, employment law, and conflict resolution.
- Play a meaningful role in enhancing leadership effectiveness across your client group.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends, develop insights, and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
- Keep current on industry trends and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance HR processes and practices.
- Support change management initiatives, ensuring effective communication and engagement with employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the execution of business strategies and initiatives.
About you
- 4+ years of experience in an HRBP role ideally within financial services or insurance.
- Resourceful and self-motivated with the ability to adapt to various environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to assess situations and make decisions based on data while drawing from previous experience.
- Ability to influence and have an impact on key decisions by demonstrating deep subject matter expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential matters in a professional way.
- Customer-focused mindset, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Knowledge of Canadian Labour laws, policies, procedures, compliance, and practices related to workplace health and safety, employment standards act, etc.
