Our client is looking for Team Lead-AML for a 9 month contract in Toronto. This is an onsite role.

Pay rate : $47.50 / Hour

Working Hours : Monday Friday, 7.5 hours per day

Responsibilities

As a Team Lead-AML, your duties will be :

  • Preparing notes from the huddle meetings and share it with the team.
  • Preparing and sharing the team’s performance with the client at the end of the shift.
  • Interacting with the client and prepare notes to share updates and changes with the team.
  • Reviewing the performance on the key process metrics and conduct RCA to improve quality parameters.
  • Preparing presentations on weekly and monthly performance data to be shared with the client.
  • Collaborating and influence internal key stakeholders to manage and resolve issues to ensure fulfillment and flawless delivery of projects.
  • Organizing fun hours on Friday for the team to promote team engagement.
  • Identifying opportunities for automation within the account and share it with the manager.
  • Providing details and data to the automation team to support the automation initiative.
  • Providing feedback and coach the outliers / low performers to improve their performance metrics.
  • Preparing a Performance summary to document and support the low performers.
  • Identifying training needs for new joiners especially and track their daily progress.
  • Conducting process training / refresher training to bridge the capability gap or if there is any process / policy change from the client.
  • Providing timely assistance in case of an escalation and support resolution of escalations / issues

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in relevant AML or financial crime-related roles required.
  • Knowledge of FINTRAC guidelines, PCMLTFA / R, and FATF recommendations
  • Proficient with FINTRAC guidelines
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team management and coaching
  • Good communication skills.

Nice to have :

  • AML / ATF / KYC / Sanction / Investigations domain CAMS or any equivalent certification is an asset.
  • Experience in previous transaction monitoring roles is an asset.
  • Experience managing a team is an asset.
