Job Summary : As the Vice President of Finance Operations, you will play a pivotal role in our executive team, focusing on financial operations related to SR&ED claims.
Your responsibilities include preparing and managing financial documentation, ensuring compliance, and optimizing SR&ED claims.
This part-time position offers flexible hours, ideal for professionals seeking impactful work alongside other commitments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the preparation and management of financial documentation for SR&ED claims.
- Work closely with internal technical project management teams and technical writers to ensure accurate and comprehensive financial reporting.
- Liaise between financial operations and technical teams to facilitate effective communication and documentation.
- Collaborate with clients to gather financial data and guide them through the SR&ED claim process.
- Implement strategies for accurate and compliant financial reports related to SR&ED claims.
- Report directly to the CEO, providing strategic insights and updates on financial operations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Extensive experience in financial management, particularly in SR&ED claims or similar areas.
- Strong understanding of Canadian tax laws and SR&ED program requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaborate effectively with both financial and technical teams.
