This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset to ensure seamless client interactions and efficient administrative operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Build relationships with clients and creditors through both inbound and outbound calls, emails, and returning voicemails
  • Assist clients to meet their payment commitments
  • Process creditor balance verifications and resolve discrepancies
  • Complete monthly reports and tasks to ensure accounts are serviced in a timely manner
  • Schedule credit counselling appointments for first-time callers as well as review appointments for existing clients
  • Assume responsibility for professional development by staying up to date on current developments in the field of credit counselling
  • Other duties as assigned by management including, but not limited to, classifying inbound documents, responding to general email inquiries, and assisting with outbound communications
  • Qualifications and Skills :

  • Strong command of the English language (English / French bilingualism is an asset)
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable time management and ability to self-manage responsibilities
  • Extremely detail-oriented with proven organizational skills
  • Enjoys working with a multicultural public in a personable and empathetic manner
  • Strong relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong interest in learning about personal finance
  • Must be bondable
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
