The PMO Manager in Security Technology will lead the Project Management Office, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of security technology projects.

This role is critical in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

The PMO Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, operations, and executive leadership, to align project goals with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of security technology projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities.
  • Establish and maintain PMO standards, processes, and methodologies to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential issues.
  • Allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring the right skills are applied to the right projects at the right time.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and status reports.
  • Track and report on project performance, including budget, timeline, scope, and quality metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, leveraging lessons learned and best practices to enhance project delivery.
  • Mentor and develop project managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Qualifications :

  • Post Secondary Education in a related field or work equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of project management experience
  • PMO leadership experience within the security technology industry, is an asset
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

Skills :

  • Strong understanding of security technologies and trends.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
