Partner Staffing is currently working with our client seeking experienced Transportation Project Manager to join their team in Calgary.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation infrastructure projects and a proven track record of managing complex projects from inception to completion.
This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team.
- Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure high standards of project delivery.
- Conduct regular project reviews and audits.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in transportation project management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation infrastructure, including roads, highways, bridges, and public transit systems.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
