Controller - 6 months

About the Opportunity

• Prepare accounts payable, cash application, invoicing to customers, administration of Fixed Assets, timely tax filing, financial statement compilation, analysis, and distribution, and the review and implementation of related internal controls as well as compliance with tax and legal obligations.
• Coordinates and supervises company audit processes including annual financial audits, workers compensation audits, income tax audits, etc.
• Works closely with company public accounting and tax firms.
• Prepare all accounting functions including Cash Application, Accounts Payable, Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Tax, and General Accounting.
• Maintains effective relationships and provides reporting for lending institutions including covenant and borrowing base calculations.
• Prepare budgets, planning and analysis

About You

• College Degree in Accounting or related discipline required.
• CMA or CPA required.
• Minimum 10 years of Controller or Assistant Controller experience required.
• Experience working with a hands on environment (smaller company)
