This Full-time Teller position is located at our Barriere Branch. Barriere is a charming town nestled within the North Thompson Valley surrounded by the Barriere and North Thompson Rivers.

As a Teller with Beem Credit Union, you are a key contributor to the financial success of our company. You actively fulfill the basic needs of our members and look for opportunities to refer or cross sell additional products or services.
What you’ll do :
- Handle various transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, bank drafts, and loan payments.
- Accurately balance ATM transactions and maintain member account documentation securely.
- Ensure compliance with Beem Credit Union security policies regarding cash and related items.
- Maintain accurate balancing of all transaction activities.
- Address member requests and identify opportunities to promote additional banking services and products.
- Respond promptly to member inquiries, escalating complex requests as needed.
- Refer transactions over specified limits to supervisors.
- Fulfill other related duties as assigned.
A little about your qualifications :
- year of experience in a sales and service-oriented role, preferably with exposure to handling of cash.
- Completion of secondary school diploma.
- Excellent customer service and strong relationship-building abilities.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.
