OVERVIEW :
We're actively seeking experienced IT Solution Architect(s) for upcoming projects in the GTA and South Ontario region. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect analyzing business requirements, designing / implementing solutions, evaluating technologies and creating technical documents.
Previous experience designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions for applications hosted in the cloud and on-premises would be a strong asset.
Strong background in software development, database management and / or cloud development is an asset. Location : GTA & SOUTH ONTARIO REGION.
Term : 6 months. Candidates must reside in Canada for the duration of projects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
- 8+ years of experience as a Solution Architect analyzing business requirements, designing / implementing solutions, evaluating technologies and creating technical documents.
- Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions for applications hosted in the cloud and on-premises.
- Experience evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to support the architecture vision.
- Experience developing and documenting architectural patterns, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency across projects and applications.
- Experience identifying potential risks and challenges in implementing the proposed solutions and develop mitigation strategies.
- Strong background in software development, database management and / or cloud development is an asset.
- Experience in cloud services, i.e., PaaS and SaaS.
- Active industry certification (i.e., TOGAF) is an asset.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada and reside in Canada for the duration of the project.
