Job description

Our valued client is seeking an experienced SAP Finance Lead to drive the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions. This role will lead end-to-end financial processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business objectives.

Location: Fully Remote (occasional travel required – T&L covered)

Duration: 6 months plus extension

Start Date: ASAP

Security: Must be eligible for Reliability Clearance

Responsibilities

Lead the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) solutions
Define and implement financial processes including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Accounting, and Cash Management
Configure and manage FI/CO master data, including internal orders and financial structures
Oversee accounting and closing operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
Support financial planning and reporting processes
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions
Ensure proper configuration of organizational structures, chart of accounts, and financial controls
Lead system integration efforts across SAP modules and external systems
Support testing phases (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live stabilization
Provide leadership, guidance, and best practices to functional and technical teams

Must-Have Qualifications

10+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO)
Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations or upgrades
Strong hands-on configuration experience in:
Accounts Payable (AP)
General Ledger (GL)
Asset Accounting
Cash Management
Internal Orders
Experience with accounting and financial closing processes
Deep understanding of financial reporting and regulatory compliance
Strong experience with SAP HANA Financial Accounting configuration
Ability to lead workshops and engage senior stakeholders
