Job description

Our client, manufacturing industry, is seeking a Technician to join their team. As a Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Burnaby, BC
Pay: $20/hr
Shift: Rotating shifts, two-week intervals: Morning shift: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm; Afternoon shift: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

What's the Job?

Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
Perform wiring, cable assembly, soldering, and connector installation.
Conduct functional testing and inspections to verify product quality.
Troubleshoot assembly issues and report defects or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.

What's Needed?

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, or electronics assembly preferred.
Ability to read and follow technical drawings, work instructions, and assembly procedures.
Experience using hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
