The opportunity

EY Technology Consulting is a fast-moving and high-growth area within EY. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager - SAP Procure To Pay (PTP) to join our Enterprise Applications team.

This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to realize your leadership potential. We are looking for an individual who combines experience leading SAP projects with an aptitude for driving sales pursuits and for helping grow our business.

Your key responsibilities

As a Senior Manager, you'll assist in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the ERP advisory market.

These are shared with all EY market facing organizations to provide consistency and common platforms with which to go to market.

A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated to be 60-70%.

Project Management : Participated in large scale SAP client engagements. Consistently deliver quality client services, driving high-quality work products within the expected timeframes and on budget.

Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Manage expectations of client service delivery.

Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Should be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Should be comfortable interfacing with a client on a daily basis. This role requires daily interaction with the client at many levels.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A degree in computer science, accounting, finance or a related field (MBA or Business Undergraduate degree preferred). SAP certification / s highly preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree and approximately 10+ years of related work experience; or a master's degree and approximately minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience working with SAP Materials Management and integration experience with other SAP modules such as QM, PM, SD, LE, FI, CO etc.

Familiarity with SAP IBP, SAP TM and OpenText VIM a plus.

  • Must have 4+ full life cycle implementation experience. S / 4 HANA implementation experience a plus.
  • Experience leading workshops during the design / explore phase of the project and to be able to understand and capture business requirements.
  • Development of project documentation, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required.
  • Experience working with clients on S4 implementation project and providing recommendations based on a fit-to-standard approach.
  • Experience with inventory management, direct and indirect procurement, account payable and enterprise asset management.
  • A good understanding of the overall purchasing process. Prior industry experience a definite plus.

Ideally, you'll also have

Prior consulting experience and a demonstrated history of driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level of Fortune 500 companies.
