Our client is looking for an Operations Officer for a 12 months contract in Markham. This position is Hybrid role (2 days onsite).
This is a hybrid position with 2-3 days in office.
Pay rate : $22 / Hour
Schedule : Mon- Fri 8 : 30am-5pm

Responsibilities
- Opens new commercial deposit accounts
- Processes account change requests for existing commercial deposit accounts (i.e. change in signing authority)
- Opens additional accounts for existing customers via Letter Of Direction
- Obtain / compile required supporting documentation
- Follows AML, regulatory & legal compliance requirements
Qualifications
MUST HAVE :
1. Fast-paced, multitasking, work well under pressure
2. Basic understanding of AML Compliance
3. Computer Savvy MS Suites Excel : basic understanding
4. Typing speed min 60-65 wpm
5. Previous admin work / previous Ops officer work 2+ years
6. Strong oral and written communication skills
NICE TO HAVE :
1. Banking Experience / Previous financial institution
2. Knowledge of Host applications and C3 considered an asset
3. Bilingual French
