About the Role
As the Planning & Development Manager, you will oversee all aspects of land and planning activities for low-rise residential development projects across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). You will play a pivotal role in steering projects through critical milestones, collaborating with municipalities, consultants, and cross-functional teams to bring visions to life.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead development projects from initial sub-division approvals to building permits and final registration.
- Serve as the primary liaison with municipalities, approval bodies, and consultants.
- Manage submissions and coordinate application processes, including Official Plan Amendments (OPA), Zoning By-law Amendments (ZBA), Site Plan Approvals (SPA), and building permits.
- Conduct research to streamline project timelines and resolve challenges.
- Attend and coordinate community meetings, land owner groups to represent and support development initiatives.
