OVERVIEW
JOB PURPOSE :
The Marketing Analyst, CPD, is responsible for the gathering of data, preparation of detailed reports and analysis of CPD programs, sales and customer behaviour.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
- A university degree, with computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, database applications, e-mail and the Intranet / Internet
- A minimum of 5 years of marketing experience or equivalent, including response analysis, and database segmentation.
- Knowledge of best practices in marketing, and targeted dissemination of specialized products, preferably legal education products
- Good grasp of delivering solid customer service in a confidential environment
- Speaks and writes in a clear, articulate, persuasive manner for individual and / or group situations
- Reasons through moderately complex spoken and written information
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent multitasking skills
- Knowledge of the Law Society, including organizational structure, services, mandate, rules and regulations
- Knowledge of product mandate and procedures, in particular CPD policies and procedures
- Good understanding of database segmentation and proven data interpretation skills
- Good understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Client / Customer Service Delivery
- Gathers program, customer and sales data from various sources (EES store, Data Warehouse, AS400, RMS) to prepare detailed reports on CPD programs, sales and customer behaviour.
- Analyses data prepares reports and works with Manager, Marketing and Customer Service to identify marketing opportunities and develop strategies that will improve market reach and increase sales.
- Works with IS / IT to create ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Works with the Manager, Marketing and Customer Service on special projects as required.
Team Membership
Provides back-up for the Marketing and Advertising Coordinator as required.
Is a proactive member of the CPD team, working closely with other members to share information and ideas, provide assistance, and contribute to the efficient and timely delivery of services, focusing on the integration of continuous improvements in work processes and procedures.
Demonstrates flexibility and commitment to the team in order to maximize resources and support co workers during peak periods, working both independently and as a member of a dynamic CPD program team.
WORKING ARRANGEMENT
The Law Society has introduced a Distributed Workforce Model to leverage flexibility and agility, and to maximize employee productivity and engagement.
Work arrangements will be determined by role and departmental requirements. The working arrangement for this position has been classified as hybrid, where the employee will regularly flex their work location between home and office.
