This position is 4 days a week in office with Friday being work from home and based out of our Toronto Support Centre. Working with the Corporate Development team, you will be responsible for developing and refining various financial models and forecasting tools.

In this role, you will

  • Gather necessary data for evaluation of potential acquisitions
  • Perform financial analysis, modelling, and due diligence to evaluate the financial viability and valuation of potential acquisitions.
  • Assist with the preparation of business case summaries and recommendations regarding potential transactions.
  • Assist with the deal documentation and transaction closing process through collaboration and partnering with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the analysis of various special projects where assigned.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or equivalent.
  • Completion of, or working towards a professional designation (CPA / CBV / CFA) is preferred
  • Motivated individual with a true passion for finance and M&A.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively and clearly with colleagues and senior management is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Bilingualism in French and English an assets
