Position Description :
- Working in coordination with Tim Hortons Product Excellence Department.
- In conjunction with the Innovation Team, review and assess new product / concepts prior to Test Markets, ensuring critical characteristics and Packaging expectations are documented in the Packaging Requirements Worksheet.
- Attend sample production runs and Test Market production runs to ensure product compliance with the spirit and intent of the Packaging Requirements Worksheet.
- Reach consensus with supplier and Product Excellence that product complies with the spirit and intent of the Packaging Requirements Worksheet.
- Approve product from sample production and / or Test Market production.
- Communicate results of production visits to Product Excellence and Quality Assurance teams.
- Work under the direction of the Lead, QA.
- Create risk profiles and mitigation strategies for facilities producing sample / Test Market products in conjunction with TH QA.
- Develop Action Plans based on risk assessments during production audits to ensure compliance with RBI QA requirements and GMP standards related to the Packaging Requirements Worksheet.
- Audit production facilities throughout Ontario at a frequency defined by the Director of TH QA to ensure compliance with RBI QA requirements, Corrective Action Plans, and testing / inspection frequencies as per RBI Specifications.
- Create audit reports, upload results into SPEQ, and develop Corrective Action Plans with TH QA.
- Support the Lead, QA, as a QC Inspector by inspecting products during trials, Test Market, and production to assess compliance with specifications, standards, and packaging retention requirements.
- Create Inspection Reports for sensory, physical, and analytical results and upload into SPEQ.
- Provide feedback to production facilities during production regarding product compliance.
- Develop Corrective Action Plans with Product Excellence and TH QA to address product issues.
- Train Testing Laboratory personnel at Packaging Test Labs.
- Provide training and feedback on issues during QC Inspections, Packaging Facilitation, and QA Audits.
Education :
2-year Technical Degree in Quality, Industrial Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology.
