Role : Big Data Developer with Java Development
contract to hire
Location : Toronto, Hybrid
Note : Hadoop, Spark and Java Developer with Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience
Rate : $60-62 / hr on Incorporation
Must Have :
- 5+ years application development experience in Hadoop, Spark and Java / Scala.
- 10+ years application development experience in Java and Spring Framework (Optional)
- 5+ years in developing and optimizing Big Data applications using Java / Scala and Spark on Cloudera / HDP.
- Experience in developing / designing micro-service architecture.
- Extensive experience in one of the cloud providers AWS / Azure and migrating large scale complex projects from on-prem to Cloud including in-between hybrid options
- Proven hands-on experience in containerization Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift etc.
- Experience in developing applications in Spring & Spring Boot
- Programming experience in Python (2+ years)
- Working knowledge of Jenkins CI, Git, CI / CD pipelines
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders business and technical
Nice to Have
- Experience in building end to end data pipelines on AWS / Azure and / or Databricks
- Knowledge in Market Risk / Capital Markets / Banking.
