This Finance Administrator Position Is for You, If You Enjoy :

  • General administrative responsibilities, including processing invoice documents, verifying transactions, collecting cheques, making cash deposits, maintaining records of incoming and outgoing payments.
  • Working at the Vancouver International Airport

Your Team is counting on you to :

  • Open availability and able to work on weekdays (with occasional weekends if necessary)
  • Work a full-time schedule

Finance Administrator Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide Accounts Receivable functions through the processing of incoming cheques and cash, or requesting invoices from Regional Finance team
  • Provide Accounts Payable functions through the processing of external invoices
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices through Basware
  • Coordinate with third party service providers and Regional Finance team on the reconciliation of invoices
  • Monthly investigation of suspicious transactions and cash discrepancies, and reporting to compliance team
  • Responsible for expense management through Concur or petty cash
  • Liaison with the Airport Authority as needed
  • Coordinating office and company events as needed
  • Frequently checking email to ensure timely response to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 12 months in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Finance related experience
  • A minimum of 6 months in cash handling experience
  • Excellent time management and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem resolution.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be detailed, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal / external customers.
