Role summary :
To directly monitor the day to day operational systems in the CF Toronto Eaton Centre Complex.
This position works a rotating -hour shift schedule.
What you will deliver :
- Assist tenants with problems related to HVAC and facilities operation
- Respond to fire alarms according to the standing procedures
- Perform preventative maintenance work and repairs on the HVAC equipment and equipment facilities as assigned by Senior Building Operator
- To monitor electronic hydro metering
- To monitor GE lighting control system
- Keep Operator Class I informed of important issues related to the operation of the complex and tenant requests
- Liaise with operations staff and supervisors
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor within the general scope of the work
- Respond and complete all relevant work orders.
What your strengths are :
- Grade diploma with trade accreditation
- BES and or equivalent certification
- Minimum of years’ experience with large industrial / commercial operations
- Working knowledge of HVAC, Building Automation and Fire Alarm Systems in office buildings and shopping centres
- Ability to complete projects as assigned by the Senior Building Operator
- Ability to liaise with tenants
- Team player attitude
