Partner Staffing is currently working with our client seeking a skilled talented Wastewater Treatment Project Manager to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing wastewater treatment projects from concept to completion, ensuring successful project delivery while adhering to safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Managing a team of Engineers and Technologists.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage wastewater treatment projects from inception to closeout, including design, construction, commissioning, and operation phases.

Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and subcontractors to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.

Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Conduct feasibility studies, engineering analyses, and technical evaluations to develop innovative and sustainable wastewater treatment solutions.

Prepare and review engineering designs, specifications, and drawings for wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and safety compliance.

Prepare and present project status reports, progress updates, and budget analyses to clients, stakeholders, and management.

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and implement effective solutions to ensure project success.

Foster a culture of safety, quality, and excellence within the project team, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field; P.Eng. or CET designation is preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in wastewater treatment engineering and project management.

Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and technologies.

Proven track record of successfully managing wastewater treatment projects from concept to completion.

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and manage project resources effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and team members.

Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship in all aspects of project delivery.
