About the work environment :

Peoples Group offers a flexible and hybrid work environment. In this role you will work a combination of in-office and remotely from home.

Typically, you'll be working regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8 : 00am and 4 : 30pm with flexibility around start & end times.

Hiring Location :

We are hiring for this position out of our Toronto office. Successful candidates who apply outside of these areas will be expected to relocate and reside in a location that is within a commutable distance.

About you :

You are a results-oriented and experienced Executive Leader with a proven track record and ability to drive secure, scalable, product driven enterprises.

You are ready to dive into a position where you are responsible for key customer, P&L and performance metrics all while owning all product lines and working within a cross-functional business unit.

You have an ability to mobilize, inspire productivity, and lead in a multi-disciplinary team setting.

About the qualifications :

• Experience in driving business value via technology solutions, with strong focus on technical knowledge
• Significant experience leading product driven organizations
• Demonstrated leadership in P&L management
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in highly complex financial services environments
• Track record of delivering outcomes through, and in co-operation with, third party distribution engines
• Strong management skills, with proven experience in applying Agile Scrum framework
• Experience in launching and delivering complex products that have demonstrated growth and scale
• Experience in API specifications, developer experience, and community relations and advocacy present a strong candidate advantage
• Strong influencing, efficient communication and good interpersonal skills
• Passionate about evolving our products to provide world class customer interactions in the digital realm
• Ability to embed security, compliance, and data accessibility at the core of every offering
• Able to discern the dynamics of risk and address them through thoughtful investment decisions

About the day-to-day :

• Oversees the development and management of the portfolio of products
• Manages, motivates and develops direct reports through ongoing performance development
• Leads definition of the product strategy, sets the product vision, and ensures the successful execution of product initiatives
• Owns the entire customer discovery, product roadmap, prioritization process and key output KPIs as it relates to products
• Owns the prioritization and allocation of investment dollars across the entire enterprise
• Owns the product strategy, market sizing, segmentation, product positioning, acquisition channels, pricing, funding, and risk frameworks
• Defines & tracks product-specific goals and metrics and ensures they are aligned to business goals
• Owns the product proposal process, sets impact metrics, and makes decisions to optimize firm wide results
• Communicates to the whole company why we are prioritizing certain product features and updating against impact metrics including which features have been most successful
• Works closely with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of the product features
• Works across several key decision making constructs to align outcomes ALCO, Investments, Strategy, Deal team etc
• Translates and presents technical concepts to attain practical business value
• Coordinates and works closely with other business functions like Risk, Finance, Operations, Sales & Onboarding

Annual Compensation :

Peoples Group is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary and discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $275,000 and $325,000+ per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities & experience that the chosen candidate possess.
