The Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst is integral to the success of the Aligned Assurance team, and to CAAT’s guiding mission and growth strategy.
This position will be responsible for successfully designing, building, implementing and operationalizing ERM at CAAT as well as support with other key initiatives on an as needed basis.
Reporting directly to the Manager / Senior Manager, the successful candidate will assist CAAT in strengthening their governance, risk management, internal controls, improving their business operations and reducing corporate wide costs.
We are looking for someone with :
- University degree and professional management or accounting designation required (BA, CPA or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years risk management, accounting, finance or internal audit experience
- Knowledge of ERM guidelines such as ISO 31000 2018, COSO 2017
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, ability to facilitate risk workshops
- Strong analytical experience with risk internal controls background
- Ability to identify risks, develop / recommend tracking measures and cost-effective risk mitigation plans
- Expertise in Microsoft Office suite as well as Visio
The successful candidate will demonstrate :
- Knowledge of and ability to configure and maintain GRC systems such as : Workiva, Audit Board, Resolver, RSA Archer, ServiceNow, Salesforce, RAS, Safran Risk
- Pension industry knowledge supplemented with Project Risk Management experience
- Familiarity with Cost of Risk modeling and analytics
- CRM (Canadian Risk Manager), PMP (Project Management Professional), ISO 31000 certification
- Insurance knowledge and experience working with brokers
- Knowledge of policy administration processes, governance and key activities
Once here you will :
- Supporting the developing, implementing, and the continuous enhancement of the ERM program, including the establishment of foundational processes, governing bodies, and operating models
- Supporting the identification, assessment, and monitoring of organizational risks, both at the enterprise and operational levels
- Assisting and creating organization Risk Appetite Statements, policy, procedures and repeatable analytical solutions to create Key Risk Indicators to monitor risks
- Supporting the design of risk modules during implementation of GRC solutions (e.g. Resolver, RSA Archer, Audit Board, Workiva)
- Developing robust risk response plans across multiple business units
- Manage and oversee the Cost Of Risk framework cross the organization
- Planning and facilitating risk workshops and ERM related awareness / training sessions with Risk owners and other operational leaders
- Leading internal initiatives to expand the ERM practice’s capabilities and offerings
- Providing advisory services, conducting investigations, and delivering assigned ad hoc projects
- Manage, track and report on established Key Risk Indicators
- Own and deliver on the quarterly ERM newsletter and project insights reports
- Ensuring quality work, transparent and accurate reporting
- Develop, oversee and actively manage the Plan’s insurance program, lazing with brokers and engaging the business as needed.
- Develop and oversee the Policy administration program for the Plan, looking after policy development, review cycles, governance and be the custodian of all organizational policies.
