Job descriptionExperience working with neurodivergent children and families Proficiency in case management techniques to coordinate comprehensive care. Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech‑Language Pathologist with paediatric experience (children 0‑18 years old) to join our supportive and growing team of therapists. The position is for an independent contractor looking to build a part‑time caseload, with an option to build a full‑time caseload over time. Therapists have the option to work in clinic at our Midtown location (Yonge and Davisville), virtually or in‑home / schools / daycares within their desired catchment area.
Responsibilities
- Provide child‑centred and neurodiversity affirming assessment and treatment activities.
- Collaborate with clients and caregivers to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain up to date documentation and record keeping (consent, clinical notes, assessment reports, progress reports, discharge notes).
- Manage own caseload.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Manage billing and invoicing using online billing system.
- Stay updated on best practices.
- Maintain CASLPO standards of practice.
