JOB SUMMARY
TheSpeech-LanguagePathologist,underthedirectionoftheManagerofRehabilitationorClinicalManager-Branchlevel,isresponsibleforcompletionofprofessionalactivitiesthatinclude : assessment,treatment, education,andmanagementof clientsrequiringSpeechandLanguagePathologyintervention, inaccordance withprofessionalstandards.

Job Qualification
Education
MastersDegreeor recognized equivalentin Speech-LanguagePathology. Registered and in goodstandingwiththeCollege ofAudiologists orSpeech-Language PathologistsofOntario..
Experience
Preference ofthreeyearsproviding Speech-LanguagePathologyservices.Experiencecompletingin-home assessmentsand treatments;knowledge ofautoinsurance and legalsystemis anassetparticularlymedical / legalreportwriting.
OtherSkillsandAbilities
Enjoyworkingwithclients ofallagesin multipletreatmentenvironments.Strongcommunication(oralandwritten)andexceptionalinterpersonalanddecision-makingskills.Abilitytohandledifficultsituationsinanobjectiveandconsistentmanner.Abilitytoworkindependentlyandtoeffectivelycollaboratewithateam.Demonstratebasicknowledgeofpersonalcomputers,andproficiencywithsecureemail. Commitmenttocontinuedlearning. Validdriver’slicense.
