Job Type : Contract, Part Time
Location : In-Person at the student's home or an agreed upon location. Ability to travel by TTC or car to student’s homes for in-home tutoring (20 minute commute).

We match the skills of over 150 certified teachers to the needs of students Grade 1 to 12 in all academic areas. Currently we are seeking tutors with an Ontario College of Teachers Certification (OCT) to join our tutor team.
We focus on matching the teacher’s knowledge and skills to the child’s educational needs keeping in mind personalities and interests.
We locate the students to match your teaching qualifications so you can tutor with ease.
Roles and Responsibilities for Credentialed In-Home Tutor
- Provide one on one tutoring in client's home (adult present in the home)
- Tutors can work from 1 - 10 hours a week.
- Tutors work according to their schedule after school from 4 - 8pm or on weekends.
- Ability to travel by TTC or car to student’s homes for in-home tutoring (20 minute commute).
- Organize and prepare relevant materials and lessons to tutor students.
- Monitor student progress and communicate progress to parents.
- Develop a positive and professional relationship with students and their families
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education
Ontario College of Teacher’s certification or in process of obtaining the OCT certification
Compensation :
Starting at $40 an hour depending on experience and qualifications
