Job descriptionA bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, finance or a related field. Must have 5+ years of experience in credit analysis in banking , with a proven ability to work independently and effectively from the outset. Must have hands-on experience in credit analysis, including financial statement analysis, conducting annual reviews, forecasting, originations, projection methodologies, and managing end-to-end reporting processes. Prior experience with Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, and Loan IQ for financial and market analysis. Practical knowledge of credit administration Understanding of risk management principles and their application within the credit administration process. Familiarity with US credit and regulatory requirements is considered an asset. A proactive mindset with a strong eagerness to learn and grow, particularly in sector analysis and economic outlooks. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders. Acute attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What you will achieve in this role :
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis, including evaluation of financial statements, forecasting, and end-to-end reporting, with a focus on Canadian corporate standards and familiarity with US regulatory requirements.
- Perform annual credit portfolio reviews to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Leverage Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, Loan IQ, and other financial tools to analyze market data and generate sector insights.
- Contribute to sector outlooks, economic analyses, and regulatory impact assessments to support informed credit decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline credit documentation processes and manage loan disbursements, repayments, and related credit transactions.
- Maintain accurate records to support audits, management reporting, and regulatory submissions.
- Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency within the credit administration function.
- Act as a key point of contact for credit-related inquiries, providing timely and effective solutions to operational challenges.
- Assist in managing credit facilities, loan syndications, and covenant compliance tracking.
- Partner with front-line credit officers and account managers to ensure timely and accurate preparation of credit proposals and presentations.
- Support the onboarding process of new credit clients by coordinating with compliance, legal, and operational teams.
