Overview
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will provide in-depth, cutting-edge scientific information to the medical community, including the educational resources, latest literature and research. The MSL will build and maintain strong relationships with experts, researchers, educators, and clinical investigators across Canada with emphasis on Ontario. Additionally, the MSL will gather feedback and insights from scientific experts and thought leaders to inform research and strategic direction. By facilitating scientific exchange between the medical community and the organization, the MSL will help shape the future of healthcare by addressing important clinical and scientific questions related to medical cannabis. The MSL will focus on introducing the MyMedi.ca platform as a medical cannabis resources to the Canadian medical community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the introduction of MyMedi and the Company’s products to the medical community to facilitate the incorporation of medical cannabis into the standard of care in Canada.
- Support international teams with expertise and experience in Canada to support the development of route to market plans for international medical programs.
- Cultivate existing and identify new collaborative KOL relationships for advisory boards, company-sponsored, investigator-initiated research, and speaker development
- Identify opportunities and provide medical support including scientific education to healthcare professionals (HCPs) at key institutions
- Develop and deliver high-quality scientific presentations, publications, and educational materials tailored to diverse audiences, ensuring clarity and engagement
- Facilitate open dialogue and scientific exchange between external experts and internal teams, gathering valuable insights to inform strategic decisions and enhance product knowledge
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including research and development, marketing, and sales, to align on messaging, and address scientific queries.
- Respond promptly to inquiries, providing materials like literature citations, medical letters, and access to experts.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, research developments, and clinical trials to provide timely and relevant information to stakeholders including attending scientific meetings, conducting literature searches, and sharing insights with colleagues to enhance collective knowledge.
- Analyze data and other scientific literature to support evidence-based discussions with healthcare professionals and to contribute to internal strategy meetings.
- The MSL will communicate up-to-date scientific knowledge to Scientific Experts and Thought Leaders, ensuring they are a reliable resource for accurate medical information.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines and company policies in the dissemination of scientific information and interactions with healthcare professional
