Job Description
As the Chief Nursing Executive (CNE) and Vice President (VP) Quality and Professional Practice, you will set the strategic vision for nursing across Spectrum Health Care, positioning the organization as a leader in the health care sector in Ontario and Quebec, and beyond.
In alignment with the company’s mission, vision and values, you will sustain a healthy work environment that drives positive clinical outcomes through collaborative evidence-based practice.
Your role will encompass driving nursing innovation, overseeing governance and quality, and ensuring the delivery of patient and family-centered care on a national scale.
Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering continuous improvement and excellence that values diversity, equity and inclusivity in service delivery throughout the organization.
A visionary and insightful leader, you are a skilled collaborator who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You have a passion for health care and for giving people, especially seniors, the choice and confidence to age and be cared for at home.
A patient champion, you are relentless in ensuring the best possible care experience by driving best practices and excellence in service delivery in collaboration with the Executive Team.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant and progressive management experience in a healthcare setting (home care experience an asset)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and currently registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Health Care / Business Administration preferred
- Familiarity with both provincial and federal privacy legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Solid analytical and independent thinking skills
- A passion for helping people receive the care they need in their homes
- A deep appreciation for, and commitment to, the needs of seniors
- Ability to collaborate within a matrixed organization to achieve corporate goals
