Senior/Lead Frontend Engineer - REMOTE

Role Overview : We are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Engineer to join our team. As a Frontend Engineer at Build-A-Bera, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the user interfaces that power our blockchain ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about creating seamless and engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality products.
• Implement UI / UX designs and ensure technical feasibility.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of web applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development and blockchain technology.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Continuously improve code quality, performance, and user experience.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in frontend development with proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or Vuex.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
• Knowledge of blockchain technology and experience working with EVM-compatible chains or the Cosmos SDK is highly preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid team environment.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive projects to completion in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with smart contract development and understanding of DeFi protocols.
• Familiarity with web3.js or ethers.js.
• Experience with UI / UX design tools like Figma or Sketch.
• Contributions to open-source projects or participation in the blockchain developer community.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools.
