Are you a passionate engineer with expertise in water and wastewater systems? RVA is on the lookout for a talented Intermediate Water / Wastewater Engineer to bring their skills and creativity to our dynamic team. If you're looking to take your career to the next level while making a real impact on critical infrastructure, we want to hear from you!

Duties :

• Apply your expertise in leading and supporting studies, preliminary design, detailed design, and services during construction for municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Oversee the preparation of engineering reports, calculations, specifications, process narrative, drawings, permit / approvals applications, and operations manuals, including application of P.Eng. seal, for the process mechanical discipline for :
• Water and wastewater treatment plants including intakes and outfalls
• Water pumping stations, sewage pumping stations, reservoirs, elevated tanks, CSO tanks
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver top-notch project designs.
• Take charge of contract administration and provide operator training to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct site inspections and write detailed technical reports as needed.
• Contribute to business development and help prepare winning proposals.
• Contribute to risk analysis, quality assurance, and management strategies to safeguard project success.
• Be ready to take on new challenges and grow within the role as other duties arise.
