Garaventa Lift is an international company specializing in the design and manufacturing of wheelchair lifts and home elevators.

We have an immediate opening for a talented, energetic, and detail-oriented individual in our Parts department. Primary work is fast paced customer contact where international customers receive installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and parts advice.

Practical knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls or complex machinery is an asset. We provide training specific to our products.

Compensation is based on experience and contribution to our team. Garaventa Lift is an equal opportunity employer and offers an excellent benefit package.

The position is full time with shifts distributed during the department operating hours of 6 am to 5 pm Pacific Time.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, the coordinator provides support to Garaventa Lift dealers, Technical Support staff and internal customers.
  • The coordinator is the first point of contact for incoming technical and parts calls, triaging and distributing workflow based on customer's needs and requests.
  • Distributes workflow from the Technical Support inboxes.
  • Maintains customer contact in the Garaventa Lift database in accordance with the Garaventa Lift Technical Support processes.
  • Gathers technical information from manuals / drawings and transmits to customers.
  • Processes parts orders, identifies parts for field repair or replacement, and parts look up.
  • Follows up and expedites outstanding customer concerns and customer orders.
  • Follows up on pending files.
  • Processes warranty documentation and claims.
  • Processes RMA documentation requests and returns.
  • Communicates with customers via email, telephone, and text.

Skills and Qualifications :

  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, highly organized and time efficient.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of ERP and ticket systems an asset
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Type 40 wpm
