SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

Person who analyzes needs, designs and applies professional techniques in the field of administrative methods and systems, in order to improve service delivery.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS

Inventory Control and Management :

  • Maintain accurate inventory records;
  • Ensure stock levels are adequate to meet demand without overstocking, utilizing reorder points;
  • Ensure the overall accuracy of our inventory, as reflected in the inventory management system, to ensure items are available when needed;
  • Oversee the storage and organization of inventory;
  • Ensure that inventory is stored in a manner that maintains its quality and accessibility;

Compile and maintain inventory of CBHSSJB equipment, software licenses and Warranties.

Implement safety and cleanliness standards in the storage :

Implement inventory tracking procedures to optimize inventory control procedures.

Lifecycle Management :

  • Establish workflow, process, and procedure to follow lifecycle of IT equipment;
  • Provide support related to the monitoring of the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal;

Coordinate with relevant teams to retire or replace outdated assets.

Stock Audits and Reconciliation :

  • Coordinate cycle and regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy of records;
  • Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and inventory records;

Implement corrective actions to prevent future discrepancies.

Inventory Analysis and Reporting :

  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement;
  • Prepare and present regular inventory reports to management;
  • Use data to forecast future inventory needs and plan accordingly;

Develop analyses and dashboards to automate asset tracking and regular reporting activities.

Collaboration and Coordination :

  • Work closely with other teams such as technicians and analysts to ensure inventory meets their needs;
  • Collaborate with on-site teams to streamline inventory movements and storage processes;
  • Communicate inventory levels and potential issues with relevant stakeholders;

Coordinate with the Finance / Purchasing team to optimize the supply chain.

Technology and Systems Management :

  • Implement and manage inventory management software and tools;
  • Stay updated on new technologies and methods for inventory management;

Train staff on the use of inventory systems and best practices.

Continuous Improvement :

  • Continuously seek ways to improve inventory management processes;
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

Education :

Bachelor in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.

Experience :

Two (2) years of relevant experience in inventory management or related roles.

Knowledge and Abilities :

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards;
  • Experience working with ITSM system is an asset;
  • Knowledge of Cree culture, health and social services in Eeyou Istchee is an asset;
  • Knowledge of the health network is considered as an asset.
  • LANGUAGE* Fluent in English;* Fluency in Cree and / or French is an asset;
