Corporate Finance is a strategic group within the Bank, responsible for producing financial analyses, budgets and forecasts of the Bank's profitability and use of resources. This group acts as a privileged advisor for requests from senior management and business line executives.

The ideal candidate will be actively involved in the production of actual, forecast and budget financial reports, as well as having the unique opportunity to contribute to the preparation of financial presentations for senior management, the Board of Directors and investors.

This is a 3-month internship.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the production of financial reports and participate in gap analysis as required.
  • Analyze the information collected to ensure its quality and explain discrepancies.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial presentations for senior management, the Board of Directors and investors.
  • Participate in the development of new tracking models based on products and managers' needs.
  • Participate in the drafting of activity processing procedures.
  • Performs any other related task requested by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree of Business Administration with a major in Finance or Accounting;
  • Mastery of the Office suite (Excel & PowerPoint);
  • Good learning ability;
  • Demonstrate curiosity and analytical skills;
  • Positive attitude, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
  • Rigor and attention to detail;
  • Bilingualism
  • French & English), spoken & written;
  • Experience in the banking and / or financial sector will be considered an asset
  • Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
