Project Coordinator, Real Estate Development

Our client within real estate development requires a Junior Project Manager to join their high-rise construction management team.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Coordinate and manage various aspects of high-rise construction projects, including permitting, consultant coordination, closeout, and occupancy processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones by persistently following up on deadlines both internally and externally.
  • Act as a troubleshooter, proactively identifying and addressing roadblocks in project execution, communicating any challenges with proposed solutions.
  • Actively engage in project meetings, taking detailed notes, participating in discussions, and ensuring ownership deliverables are identified and followed up on.
  • Demonstrate initiative by independently managing routine tasks and processes without constant direction, such as monthly permit applications and approvals.
  • Communicate effectively and confidently with stakeholders at all levels, utilizing clear and direct communication methods to coordinate project activities.
  • Maintain consistency in executing daily tasks and routines, ensuring reliability and efficiency in project coordination efforts.
  • Stay observant and inquisitive, continuously monitoring project processes, identifying potential issues, and proactively addressing them with project ownership.
  • Demonstrate the ability to push back when necessary and ask critical questions to ensure project clarity and alignment with objectives.
  • Remain flexible and resilient, adapting to changes in project scope or requirements while maintaining focus on deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Proven experience in coordinating and managing high-rise construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of permitting processes, consultant coordination, closeout procedures, and occupancy requirements.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and addressing roadblocks in project execution.
  • Proficiency in actively participating in project meetings, taking detailed notes, and facilitating discussions.
  • Demonstrated initiative in independently managing routine tasks and processes related to project coordination.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Consistency and reliability in executing daily tasks and routines associated with project coordination.
  • Keen observational skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential project issues.
  • Assertiveness to push back when necessary and ask critical questions to ensure project clarity and alignment with objectives.
