Position : Quality Engineer
Location : Montreal
Duration : 12-month Contract renewable based on performance

Responsibilities
- Managing non-conformances identification and sentencing
- Risk management
- Product and Process Qualifications / PPAP / or equivalent
- Root cause investigation processes understanding quality issue root causes, containment of the problem, and implementation of corrective actions / solutions
- Supplier audits are an asset
Ability to travel, likely to suppliers, estimated 3-4 times / year (1 week durations each time typical)
Qualifications
Knowledge required :
- Gas turbine engineering field is an asset (basic understanding of gas turbine, specifically turbine blades and vanes, component in terms of design, materials, functionality, special processes, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret product definitions (drawings) is a must together with the supporting material / process / quality specifications.
- Advanced understanding of GD&T
- Risk management
