Technical Writer - Senior

To ensureacceptance of technical and business documentation andcommunication required to support LRC and partner ministries ofOntarios Public Safety Radio NetworkProject.

Experienceand Skill SetRequirements

• Creationof technical specifications for systemsdevelopment
• Designimplement and work with the project team in completing all relevantand required documentation in alignment with OPSstandards
• Undertakespecial assignments / subprojects asassigned
• Conductassess evaluate and document stakeholder interests and businessneeds
• Createand validate business scenarios and usecases
• Producevisual depiction of use cases and process flows; ensure alignmentwith the program area andassociated
• Businessarchitecture as well as traceability to solution logical andphysicalarchitectures
• Createreview provide input and support of Enterprise Architectureartifacts for all checkpoints asrequired
• Createsystem and user interface design and modifications (data &screen) asrequired
• Reviewall test scenarios to ensure the requirements are met; establishtraceability matrix to monitoroutput
• Ensurealignment and adherence to Ministry of Government Servicesprocesses andstandards
• Supportthe testing team during system and UATtesting
• Participatein Knowledgetransfer.
• Creatingdetailed business analysisdocuments
• Demonstratedexperience in creating user manuals and reference guides for bothtechnical and nontechnicalusers
• Excellentwriting skills in English language
• Knowledgeand experience with graphic design principles and software. Expertuse of Microsoft Office Suite Good graphic designskills
• SharePointonline management and maintenanceexperience
• Experiencemanaging and organizing technical reporting and training materialin an onlineSharePoint
• Easyclient reference and recall for shareddocumentation / information.
• Musthave at least 10 years of experience in Technical Writing withabove average communication skills especially in writtenEnglish
• Musthave the ability to promote and maintain strong relationships withkey stakeholders while also building teamcapacity.
• Mustability to produce enhanced SharePoint intranet site to ensure thatusers can perform their jobs more efficiently and support them inhaving a seamlessworkflow.
• Musthave the skillset to change technical terms to nontechnical termsand viceversa for better communication back to theclient.
• Musthave the experience to plan research design and develop content indocumentation materials to support the PSRNproject.
• Allroles procured are required to be cleared through the ContractorSecurity Clearance Process of the OPS. Security Clearance processlevels roles etc.

Requirements

MustHaves :

• 5Years of Experience in Public safety radio or telecommunicationsinfrastructure experience in a large public sectorentity
• 10years of experience in Technical Writing with above averagecommunication skills especially in writtenEnglish
• Theability to promote and maintain strong relationships with keystakeholders while also building teamcapacity.
• Abilityto produce an enhanced SharePoint intranet site to ensure thatusers can perform their jobs more efficiently and support them inhaving a seamlessworkflow.
