Role Overview

The Applications Architect will provide leadership in the development and implementation of enterprise application architectures, information architecture, data architecture, cloud-native solutions, and AI-enabled analytics.

The role requires expertise in application architecture governance, cloud-native technologies, Databricks-based data engineering, microservices, API design, and Public Sector architecture standards.

Core Responsibilities

Application & Information Architecture

• Lead development and implementation of application architectures.
• Provide information architecture guidance and expertise.
• Conduct architecture reviews and assessments.
• Deliver architecture artefacts required for governance approvals.
• Facilitate engagement with stakeholders involving:

Data & Analytics Architecture

• Design scalable enterprise data architectures.
• Engineer scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
• Support data ingestion and analytics initiatives.
• Provide expertise in:
  • Information Architecture

  • BI Analytics
  • Data Mesh adoption

AI-Driven Analytics

Apply AI technologies for data analysis through:

• Prompt Engineering

Cloud & Modern Architecture

• Design cloud-native application architectures.
• Design and support high-sensitivity applications.
• Build RESTful API architectures.
