Your new role
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Talent Acquisition Manager oversees all aspects of the resourcing and recruitment activities to identify, attract and recruit top talent and diverse candidates.
The TA Manager will operate at both strategic and operational levels. They will work in close partnership with the corporate and local HR teams, as well as hiring managers.
- Define and lead end to end Talent Acquisition strategy and ensure its alignment with the company’s business objectives, recruitment forecast and DE&I ambitions.
- Collaborate with HR team members and business / functional leaders to understand and forecast their specific talent needs and identify most relevant sourcing approach.
- Constantly monitor recruitment processes to ensure that they are effective and candidate centric.
- Execute full-cycle recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting offers.
- Define and implement recruitment standards, guidelines and processes.
- Apply appropriate recruitment strategies and tactics through various channels : Job postings, social media, networking, recruitment campaigns, career fairs, market research, company’s alumni, etc.
- Coach and provide professional advice and recommendations to the HR team members and hiring managers related to current recruitment best practices and market trends.
- Review and maintain an employer value proposition that attracts exceptional and diverse talent, and ensure that all recruiting activities such career fairs and events or other HR marketing activities support our employer brand.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the local HR teams, hiring managers, agencies, educational institutions and other external business partners.
- Report regularly against internal metrics and benchmark practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you will need to succeed
Relevant undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field;
Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years experience in Talent Acquisition, international TA experience preferable.
- Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in developing strategic and operational TA activities and employer branding initiatives.
- Ability to prioritize TA activities and recruitment mandates, and work effectively with recruitment agencies.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking Systems (such as Success Factors) is considered an asset.
- Energetic, engaged and self starter, and ability to work independently.
- Occasional travel across North America.
