Job Title : Talent Acquisition Coordinator

Salary : 50-55k
Key Duties / Responsibilities :
- Build talent pipeline for senior-level and / or critical roles across the Warehouse and Retail.
- Develop recruitment strategy for new markets / new store openings.
- Manage hiring manager relationships, develop rapport and set expectations.
- Continuously seeking to improve employment branding of JD, size? and Livestock on sites such as Glassdoor, and Indeed.
- Support and coach hiring managers on interview best practices.
- Ensure world-class candidate experience throughout hiring process.
- Ensure first day orientation and job-specific training scheduled and confirmed by hiring manager.
- Create employment offers before being extended to candidate.
- Ensure all new hires have completed reference and background checks.
- Recruitment reporting and metrics, as assigned.
- Conduct reference checks and submit background check information for processing in timely manner.
- Create employee files based on signed employment agreements and ensure the employee is ready to be added to Payroll.
Skills / Experience / Knowledge needed :
- 1-2 years of experience in a relevant capacity.
- Experience in the retail industry (preferred).
- Solid understanding of the Canadian recruitment landscape to attract top talent.
- Good knowledge of current HR related provincial legislation and regulations.
- Strong sourcing, networking and lead generation skills to locate candidates with difficult to find skill sets in local and other markets.
- Excellent relationship building skills and experience providing recruitment support in a coaching and advisory capacity to all levels of management.
- Exceptional ability to collaborate and build quick rapport with key stakeholders.
- Well-developed recruitment techniques and practices to source and select top talent, including leveraging multiple talent attraction channels.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritise, and manage a high-volume of tasks, deadlines, and requirements.
- Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team.
