Call Center Representative (Billing)
This role in the insurance industry begins with two weeks of on-site training before transitioning to a hybrid model. You’ll provide excellent customer service, address billing inquiries, and work with brokers and underwriters to resolve issues.
The position involves a rotating schedule within Contact Center hours. Shift assignments are based on tenure and business needs.

Responsibilities :
- Provide outstanding customer service to customers and brokers, supporting billing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing matters in collaboration with brokers and underwriters.
- Triage and direct insurance or claims inquiries to the appropriate department for further assistance.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with customers through telephony and email, describing available programs and services.
- Identify and interpret customer needs, responding appropriately and professionally.
- Gather relevant information systematically to ensure seamless customer interactions.
- Take ownership of customer relations through commitment to service and follow-up.
What you will need to succeed :
- 1-2 years of contact center experience is highly desired.
- Customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
- Ability to handle a minimum of 70+ calls per day, with top performers managing up to 100 calls daily.
- Strong telephone and email communication skills with professional etiquette.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve customer concerns.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Quick adaptability to changing surroundings and processes.
- Proficiency in word processing, Excel, and various Windows-based applications.
- Reliability in attendance and punctuality is crucial.
- Flexibility regarding working hours and shift assignments is required.
- Bilingual fluency in English and French (spoken and written) is an asset for supporting clients in both languages.
